The India Fellow is inviting applications for their India Fellow Social Leadership Program for the 2023 cycle. The aim of the fellowship is to build social leadership skills in potential leaders. The fellowship imparts values that are necessary for working in the social sector.
What’s in it for you?
Following are the things you can expect as an India Fellow.
- Working at Grassroots
You will get a chance to spend most of your time working at the grassroots level with an organization committed to bringing social change. You will be living in a rural or periurban setup that will help you gauge the complexities of social issues. It will also inculcate sensitivity, consciousness, and a deeper understanding of the communities.
- Training
You will receive 45 days of residential training. This will be at the induction, midpoint, travel workshop, and at end of the fellowship journey. The pedagogy is unique that will convert your knowledge into wisdom. You will be networked with a strong collective of varied social leaders, academicians, researchers, and practitioners.
- Mentorship
You will be exposed to a pool of mentors from the host organization and fellowship network. Fellows will be able to meet them during training and workshops. This will help build your professional network.
- Continuous Learning
You will be documenting your experiences through blogs/podcasts/ vlogs. This will help you in building your holistic understanding of the sector and develop crucial social leadership skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age – 20 to 30 years
- Already a graduate or graduation gets completed before the start of the fellowship (April 2023).
- Willing to relocate to any part of the country
- Willing to work in any thematic area
Logistical Details
- Fellowship Duration – 18 months
- Application Rounds – 1st Step (Online Application), 2nd Step (Telephonic Round), 3rd Step (Situation Judgement Test), Final Round (Assessment).
