Arthan collaborated with the Genpact Centre for Women’s Leadership for their Returning Mother’s programme. From Arthan’s team, Mahamaya Navlakha, VP Research & Development and Tanya Sarin, VP Strategy & Partnerships took a session to provide support and guidance to women who are mothers and are planning to rejoin the workforce after a break
“In our experience, there is a knowledge gap for women returning to workforce post maternity break, specifically about careers in social impact space, Arthan’s session not only exposed women to different career paths women can take in the development space, but also trained them on key skills such as – effective Linkedin profile and drafting an impactful resume for job search post maternity,” said Isha Sharma ,Programme Manager, Genpact Centre for Women’s Leadership (GCWL)
Arthan’s session was a booster for the returning moms. “During this session, we got to understand how a returning mother can show the “career gap” in her resume. They showed us how we could communicate skills (attained in the break) such as negotiation and multi-tasking during the interview to ace it in a compelling way,” said Urvashi, Training and Content Manager, Saajha who was a participant at the session.
